Youth Alive... Challenges students to adopt a person plan of action for sharing their faith and establishing a campus ministry for every middle and senior high school. Provides encouragement, resources and training for students, teachers, counselors and administrators. Celebrates greatness found in students, teachers, counselors and administrators. Operates as a multi-denomination, multi-church based ministry.
Why is Youth Alive such a great opportunity to reach out? For the church - churches cannot preach on a school campus, but they can invest in the work through prayer. The first step to any ministry or any great work of God is prayer! For youth workers - gives them an opportunity to be a witness, not only in word but in deed. By taking part, mentoring, coaching, being an advisor, sponsoring a club or working to begin or continue and outreach in the school. For students - teens are looking for answers, they don't always know it, and most are not open to looking for those answers in church, but the message of the church is before them in Christian friends. Students are missionaries and our high schools are a great mission field. For you - reaching our schools is for everyone, when Christian students, youth workers, church leaders, community members and all believers unite together, God can move and lives are changed!
